Happy Meal

Alix Saint-Yves is a prodigal ballerina who was hexed by birth by her wealthy parents when they bargained for more political and financial power in her home country of France. This came about by buying an heirloom glyph at an art auction 23 years ago. She was forced into extensive training and restriction to become a world-class dancer, gymnast, and ballerina. Years would pass and after winning multiple prestigious awards early in her career is when suddenly she was forced into reclusion in her late teens as her arm mutated into a tentacle monster forsaken by the hex. She turned to art and self-mutilation as a method of coping. Slitting her own mouth to be able to consume more food which she was in denial of as a protest to her strict upbringing. She loathed her failed aspirations and dreams falling to the wayside due to her parent's greed. As a child, she always wanted to get a happy meal and toy like the rest of her friends and classmates but, her parents would detest it in lieu of her projected career that was forced on her as an athlete. As a matter of coping with this trauma, she made her own "happy meals" (albeit non-tender parents do not make very good-tasting meat) with her currently disfigured self as the toy prize in the box and eat as terribly as she wanted now that her ingrained life goals were totally out of reach. Savoring the cooked flesh burger(with fries!) she finally found herself lovin' it.
